The Florida Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon was established on February 11th, 1884 and was the first fraternity at the University of Florida. For over a century, we have sustained an elite brotherhood based on character, honor, and friendship. The original chapter house was located on the corner of University Avenue and 13th street, until the Fraternity moved to its current location at 2 Fraternity Row. Florida Upsilon currently boasts the largest number of chapter initiates of all chapters in the realm of SAE, a strong involvement in Florida Blue Key, and a commitment to the principles of The True Gentleman.

We are proud to announce that Florida Upsilon held the Leadership School for our entire province, Nu-Epsilon, at the chapter house this year. The leadership school hosted 9 other chapters across the state of Florida. We are also renovating our Chapter Room to be completed this summer.

Don't miss it out on the 2016 Biannual Alumni Weekend, beginning on Friday, November 11th at the Gainesville Country Club with the Alumni Golf Tournament. Festivities continue through Saturday for the UF-USC Football gameday and end with brunch at the F-Club in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

We are proud to have accepted our newest class of members, Rho Chi this Fall. We have 29 new members, and they are learning the traditions and history of our chapter.
